mmmmm…..Mushrooms

This is the time of year to enjoy delicious Chanterelle mushrooms.  If you are lucky enough to know someone who hunts for them and shares with you, then that’s a bonus!!!  Unless of course you enjoy the hunting AND devouring the forest treasure.  And you can also buy them as well. Win win, either way I say.

These beauties were delivered to my doorstep as a surprise one morning.  I received a text that read “There are mushrooms on your deck”.  Sure enough, I opened the door and there were these gorgeous mushrooms.  It turns out my Uncle had gathered enough to share with us, knowing we love them too.♥   What a delight. He included two I have never had before so it will be a fun adventure trying the Masutake, and the King Bolete.
