Mid October

It is mid October. What????? How did THAT happen?????  Well, nevertheless, here it is. Maples and a few other trees and bushes have been turning beautiful colors with leaves falling to the ground.  So pretty.  That means its getting closer to the winter months. I’m waiting for the cold weather to arrive which I think is just around the corner.  That means I can wear cute scarves, vests, boots, and the like! 🙂

And, there are other good things coming.  Like Pumpkin everything!  It’s Pumpkin crazy season!!  I tried a Pumpkin Latte just a couple years ago and I loved it. Thankfully it is not here year round.  It is a once a year treat for me! But there’s also Pumpkin cheesecake, Pumpkin pie, Pumpkin bread, etc.  Oh boy the list goes on!

And there are Cranberries!!!  Starbucks has a treat that is so delicious and only available during the Holiday season…….. Cranberry Bliss Bars!  OMG.  SO SO good.  I did find a copy cat recipe for these that is absolutely DELICIOUS!  I will be posting this recipe soon.  I almost hesitate to make it because I love them so much.♥  I am lucky that I have a family member who gives me a big bag of cranberries every year.  I now have several really good cranberry recipes for the upcoming holidays and I’m looking forward to sharing those with you.

Hoping you are all enjoying the last of the beautiful Fall weather and getting ready for what’s around the corner 😉

I have a recipe for cranberry orange bread that is delicious with the fresh cranberries. Fall has arrived with the heavy rain and gusty weather we had here in Raymond last night! Managed to get some clam digging in before the weather changed! Another fall favorite for our house! Love your blog, keep it coming!😘😍

oh my… I have one recipe you gave me for making wickedly wonderful cranberry bars. Life is too short. I think of how many people turned down dessert after dinner on the Titanic…. One never knows, so I will be looking forward to some pumpkin recipes to try this year! 🙂 I love your website.:)

If we are lucky enough to connect sometime I would love to bring you some cranberry bliss bars along with the recipe 🙂 It’s one of the things I’m going to make for the bazaar I’m participating in on Nov. 10th at the school! 🙂
