January 2019!

Ok, wow. Just wow. Everything has flown by since I last chatted with you! Christmas was a whirlwind for sure. I started the vacation being sick for 4 days. That was not optimal considering what all needed to be done. I had saved almost EVERYTHING for the 11th hour. Gee, how unlike me. (insert sarcasm here 🙂 ) The good thing was only one of the four kids was coming for Christmas so it reduced the pressure just a bit. But sad to say, not one card went out, no tree was put up, no lights, no decorations, etc. My daughter was completely understanding of the underwhelming spirit and mood this year. Bless her little heart! I do feel sheepish and a little sad I didn’t rise to the occasion, but it gives me great hope for next year. I know even if I only do a few things next year, I’ll out-do this year! Bring on Christmas 2019!……. But not until December!!!

I am so conflicted with things I want to do and be a part of. I feel there isn’t enough hours in the day or days in the week to do all that I want to do. I am NEVER caught up around here. I don’t know if all of you that work feel the same way, but its so hard trying to get things done during the work week. In addition I have ventured into a fun photo challenge that I’m loving. Its a photo a day. With a suggested theme if you want. Photography is something I love so I am having fun with it. I’m also still trying to find time to do new recipes that I want to try out. Cooking is a definite passion of mine. So I’m always on the hunt or making something. I simply cannot help myself.

I have a few breaks from school coming up and I am all over the place trying to decide what to do and where to go during those times. This requires planning, computer time and money. Hmmmm. I see a problem here. I’m always looking to connect with the kids because they are all in different states. Also love to see friends and go places that would be fun or interesting.

Gardening catalogs have begun to arrive and I’m going crazy trying to decide what all I want to get for the garden this coming spring and summer. There are flowers and bulbs and shrubs and gadgets, etc.!!! I really need more time off work just to figure these things out!!

I would love to hear from any of you at anytime. Always feel free to comment and/or let me know how life is for you. 🙂 Its always nice to know you are in good company. ♥ Until next time my friends………………………………..
