By Jennifer Elders | September 12, 2018

Fall is definitely in the air here!! The days are less sunny and often downright rainy, the nights are much cooler, the flowers are fading, and leaves are falling. There is a fire in the wood stove most nights now. So I guess I should just embrace the fact that Fall is coming whether I’m…

Lazy Sunday….

By Jennifer Elders | September 9, 2018

Lazy Sunday.  Early coffee, late breakfast, jammies… possibly all day.  Football (yay!), a fire in the woodstove just to take the chill off, and spending more time than what one should on the computer catching up with all the hub-bub of the week.  It is cool and rainy outside and all those things just kinda…

These little crackers…….OH MY GOODNESS! So delicious. Can’t stop at one. Delightful to have all on their own or with a lovely glass of wine.  I got the recipe for these from a cooking show I watched. They are better than the ones you buy that look a little like this. Actually, they are so…

Vodka martinis

By Jennifer Elders | August 28, 2018

Vodka martinis are my “FAVORITE”!  A couple shots of vodka, (or so) a teeny tiny splash of dry vermouth, a teaspoon or two of olive juice, and then… shake until its super cold and pour into a beautiful martini glass. There are so many gorgeous ones out there.  No reason to go boring! Then…
